8th Annual Golf Day |

Our 8th Annual Golf Day was held at Woolston Manor Golf Club on Friday 21st September 2007. Once again, the event proved to be an excellent opportunity for the directors and staff to meet their customers in an informal and relaxing setting. Despite the indifferent weather forecast, the rain stayed away and more than 70 competitors fought it out for the numerous prizes on offer. Overall winner of the Stapleford competition was Kevin Shek who scored 41 points playing off a handicap of 14. He became the first recipient of the H. Smith Open Champion claret jug. Second place went to Simon Chan scoring 40 points and third place to Danny Liu with 37 points. The 20 and over handicaps division was won by Michael Fong with 40 points. Siu Chin took the guests’ competition (39 points) and Sue Morris the ladies’ competition (25 points). We awarded prizes for nearest the pin on four holes, won by Henry Leung, John Hillman, Max Tan and Simon Morris. The two straightest drive competitions were taken by Candy Sze and Michael Fong and the two longest drive prizes by Steve Shieh, and, completing the hat trick for the Morris family, George Morris Junior. The directors would like to congratulate the winners and extend their thanks to all who attended and made it such a memorable day. They look forward to seeing you again next year.
