9th Annual Golf Day 2008
Our 9th annual golf day took place at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club on Friday 19th September 2008. We were blessed with glorious weather – a beautiful late Summer’s day – as 75 competitors challenged for the various prizes on offer.
Martin Jones won the overall Stableford competition, scoring a very creditable 42 points playing off a handicap of 8. Jeff Wan, a former champion, came second and Jimmy Lee third in the open competition, whilst Peter Wong won the 20 and over handicaps prize. Sue Morris picked up the ladies’ prize for the second year running and Kau Wan was the guest winner.
