Chilli & Honey Glazed Prawns

Ingredients

  • 450g Dragon 8 peeled and deveined prawns
  • 2 red & green bird’s eye chillis
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tsp corn flour (mixed with water)
  • 2 sprigs of chives
  • 2 pinches of sesame seeds
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Method

1. Heat a wok until hot, add extra virgin olive oil, and then heat the prawns, and sauté.
2. Once the prawns are half cooked, add your honey and sweet chilli sauce.
3. Whilst cooking, add your chopped chillis, and your mixture of cornflour & water.
4. Once the prawns are sticky and cooked, plate up, and garnish with chives & sesame seeds.

Dragon 8 Vannamei Prawns

This recipe was produced using our Dragon 8 PD Vannamei Prawns. These are farmed Vannamei white prawns (species: Litopenaeus vannamei), peeled and deveined.
